MEDICON 2026 – Abstract Submission Guidelines

For Oral (Platform) and Poster Presentations

MEDICON 2026 invites scientific abstracts for consideration under Oral (Platform) and Poster presentation categories. Abstracts must be submitted in accordance with the following guidelines:

General Guidelines

  • Submission Deadline: All abstracts must be received by30/08/2026, 11:59 PM IST. Late submissions will not be accepted.
  • Submission Method: All abstracts must be submitted through our website https://medicon.imakarnataka.in/
  • Abstracts submitted via email, fax, post, or courier will not be considered.
  • Presenting Author Registration: Registration for the conference is compulsory for the presenting author.

Formatting & Content Rules

Please review these rules carefully before preparing your submission. Abstracts that do not comply may be returned or rejected.

  • Language: All abstracts must be written in clear, concise English
  • Word Limit: The abstract body must not exceed 300 words. (Excluding the title, author and institution names)
  • Content (Text Only): Abstracts must be text-only. Figures, tables, images, and graphs must not be included.

Title

The abstract title should be brief and clearly indicate the nature of the research. Please use Title Case (e.g., "This Is a Sample Title") and avoid typing in all capital letters. Authors & Affiliations: Please provide the full name, affiliation (Institution/ Organisation, City, Country), and email address for the presenting author.

You must clearly indicate the presenting author.

Research involving human subjects or patient data must include a statement of approval from the Ethical Committee.

Abstract Structure

Abstracts should be structured under the following headings:

Title
Background
Objectives
Methods
Results
Conclusion

(For case reports, include Introduction, Case Details, Discussion, Conclusion)

Review & Acceptance

  • All submissions will undergo peer review by the Scientific Committee
  • Acceptance notification will be sent to the presenting author via email.
  • The Scientific Committee reserves the right to select the mode of presentation (Oral or Poster) based on merit and program needs

The decision of the scientific committee regarding acceptance or rejection and the mode of presentation (Oral or Poster) is final, and no further communication will be entertained in this regard.

Presentation Guidelines

Detailed instructions for Oral and Poster presentation formats will be communicated along with the acceptance email and will also be updated on the conference website.
